FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The lake-effect snowstorm being billed as Snowvember by Western New Yorkers has resulted in several postponements by the Fredonia Blue Devils.

Here's a team-by-team look at the revamped schedule:

MEN'S BASKETBALL -- Status: Postponed, most likely canceled. The skinny: After pushing back the Friday-Saturday schedule one day to Saturday-Sunday, Medaille announced postponement of The Knee Center of Western New York Tournament in its entirety this weekend. A Medaille official said attempts would be made to reschedule some of the tournament, which also includes Nazareth and St Mary's of Maryland, although logistics may make that impossible. Next up: The Blue Devils visit Alfred University on Dec. 2.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL -- Status: Postponed. The skinny: The Blue Devils were supposed to travel to Nazareth for a game Saturday afternoon. Depending on the improvement of travel conditions, the teams may try to play Sunday afternoon. More details to follow. Next up: If the Nazareth game is scrubbed this weekend, the Blue Devils anticipate a visit next Tuesday from Medaille at 7 p.m.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY -- Status: All systems go. The skinny: Blue Devil senior Zakk Hess (Clyde, N.Y.) will compete in the NCAA Division III championship meet in Mason, Ohio, at 11 a.m. Saturday. It's the final meet of the 2014 cross country season.

MEN'S HOCKEY -- Status: Postponed. The skinny: The Blue Devils were scheduled to play host to Buffalo State in a SUNYAC game at 7 p.m. Friday. The game has been switched to Sat., Feb. 14, setting up a home-and-home weekend series with the Bengals. The teams will also play Fri., Feb. 13 in Buffalo. Next up: Home Tue., Dec. 1, vs. Elmira.

SWIMMING & DIVING -- Status: Postponed. The skinny: The Blue Devils' trip to Nazareth for Saturday's meet has been called off. Coaches from both schools will attempt to reschedule the meet. Next up: The three-day, eight-team Blue Devil Invitational starting Dec. 5 at the Steele Hall Natatorium.
