Dan Greco (Lockport/Lockport) and junior third baseman
Dillon Lowe (Pittsford/Pittsford Sutherland) were both named to the All SUNYAC First Team on Wednesday.
Greco was the SUNYAC Batting Champion, finishing with a .417 mark overall. He batted .407 in SUNYAC games and was the top base thief (6 for 6) in in-conference games. Greco started the season as the sixth batter in the Devils' lineup. He quickly moved up to the leadoff spot where he continued to flourish. He led the Devils with 40 hits and was second with 7 doubles and third with 12 stolen bases.
Greco's older brother, Josh, was also a First Team selection in 2009. Josh led the conference in hitting for the majority of the season before settling in with a .394 average. Josh also set the Blue Devil mark for doubles (14) and earned all ABCA New York Region and ECAC New York All region that year.
Lowe anchored the middle of the Devils' order and batted .358 overall, second best on the team. Lowe was also second on the Devils in stolen bases (13), at bats (109) and hits (39). He led the team with 48 total bases. In the conference, Lowe posted a .344 average while starting all 18 games.
