FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Two Fredonia State women have been named to the 2011-12 All-Conference Team by SUNYAC coaches.
Sophomore guard
Becky Hebert (Hilton) was chosen to the Second Team and senior guard
Nicole Calbi (Olean) to the Third Team.
Hebert averaged 20.5 points per game, tops in the SUNYAC and currently No. 13 in NCAA Division III. Her 472 points was the second-best season by a Blue Devil, one more than Debbie Pike, who scored 471 points in 1989-90.
Sarah Adkins scored 521 points in 1997-98.
In addition to her point total, Hebert shot 78.1 percent from the foul line and 42.1 percent from the field. Both percentages rank among the top 200 in NCAA D-III.
Calbi, the Blue Devil playmaker, averaged 10.5 points per game and was second in the SUNYAC with 4.96 assists per game -- 31st best in the nation. She also had an assist-to-turnover ratio of plus-1.33 and averaged 2.2 steals per game.
Calbi will graduate fifth in career assists (324) and 12th in career steals (157) on all-time Blue Devil lists.
