SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Five Fredonia State divers posted NCAA provisional qualifying scores during competition Saturday at Trinity (Texas) University.
In the women's 3-meter competition, junior
Sarah Ficarro (Owego), sophomore
Katelyn Haley (Canandaigua), sophomore
Ashley Keller (Lockport), and senior
Leanne Kies (Owego) were among a group of six women to reach the NCAA Division III qualifying standard.
In addition, junior
Ryan Fuller (Endicott) posted a D-III provisional qualifying score in the men's 1-meter competition while senior
John Rodman (Livonia) narrowly missed the standard.

Leanne Kies and
John Rodman had the best meet of their careers," Fredonia State assistant coach
John Crawford said. "The 11-dive format with good competition is exactly what we needed heading into the conference championships."
