ECAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- One day after being named SUNYAC athletes of the week in their respective sports, two Fredonia State women have been cited by the ECAC.
Women's soccer player
Reilly Condidorio has been named ECAC Division III Offensive Player of the Week for the Upstate Region.
Women's volleyball player
Sarah Zureck is the ECAC Division III Player of the Week for the Upstate/Metro Region.
Both women and their teams are in post-season action this week. Condidorio and the women's soccer team meets New Paltz at noon Wednesday in a SUNYAC semifinal game at Kingston, N.Y. Zureck and her volleyball teammates are in action 6 p.m. Friday in a SUNYAC semifinal against either New Paltz or Geneseo at Cortland.
It was the second time this fall Condidorio has received the ECAC award, and the third time the ECAC has recognized a Blue Devil player. Condidorio was first cited on Oct. 4. Junior goalkeeper
Meaghan Meszaros was named ECAC Division III Upstate Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 18.
The ECAC's selection of Zureck comes one week after junior outside hitter
Lindsey Olson received the same honor.
