Cam Sample won the long jump Sunday during the Brockport Multi & Invitational Track and Field meet. Sample had a winning mark of 7.16 meters (23 feet, 6 inches) and showed consistency with all three legal marks over 22 feet, 3 inches. Based on past seasons, he would be within the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying standard but short of the NCAA Division III automatic cut, which stands at 7.40 meters.
