Fredonia senior Hannah Kurbs ran a school record 37:55.74 to finish second in the women's 10,000 meters at last Friday's SUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field championship meet. She ran below the qualifying time for All-Atlantic Regional Track Conference meet May 15 and May 16. The school record eclipsed Sarah Furman's 38:06.26 set in May of 2010. It was also an improvement on Kurbs's 39:02.29 last month at the Cortland Classic.
