Running at the Penn Relays, senior Josh Guarino broke the Fredonia State men's school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:03.34. He finished second in a field of mostly runners from NCAA scholarship programs. The time automatically qualified Guarino for the NCAA Divsion III championship meet later this month at Ohio Wesleyan.
