Samantha Spiess (Fairport, N.Y. / Penfield) scored four goals and added two assists in her first two games of the season after returning from an injury suffered last season. Spiess scored three of her four goals during the week in Fredonia's 20-10 rout against D'Youville on Wednesday. Her aggressiveness on faceoffs paid off as she collected eight draw controls on Wednesday and three on Saturday.
