Kevin Yirinec opened the season with three homeruns in four games as Fredonia went 2-2 in Myrtle Beach. He homered twice in the Devils 16-1 Opening-Day victory over Lehman. He added a two-run blast in a loss to Manhattanville. He finished the opening trip hitting .417 (5 for 12) with 7 RBI in four games. He also walked twice for an on-base percentage of .500.
