In addition to the FSU Athlete of the Week, Ashley was named both  the SUNYAC and ECAC Pitcher of the Week. LaPorta tossed her second collegiate no-hitter April 16 in a 9-0 victory over Potsdam Bears. She improved to 4-1 overall with a 1.36 earned run average.
