Fredonia freshman McKayla Polowy from Silver Creek, N.Y., and Silver Creek H.S., rallied to win the 500-yard freestyle on Day 1 of the home Swmming & Diving Invitational. On Day 2, she finished third in the 200 free, and on Day 3, she won the 1,650 free. She also was part of two second-place relays and accounted for 73 team points over the course of the meet.
