A freshman from Silver Creek, N.Y., McKayla Polowy was Fredonia's top finisher Saturday in its home meet vs. Geneseo and Grove City. Polowy was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:34.47. She was also third in the 500-yard free in 5:34.32, just 1.5 seconds out of second place.
