Nick Guarino, a senior from Bergen, N.Y., ran an NCAA D-III automatic qualifier in the 800 meters Saturday at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational. His winning time of 1:49.49 was nearly two seconds faster than the AQ (1:51.10) and was also a Fredonia State school record.
