Anna Chiacchia, a junior from Hamburg, N.Y., is a repeat winner of Fredonia Athlete of the Week. She was unbeaten in three matches during the week, including a 9-0 win over Brockport to open the SUNYAC portion of the schedule. She lost three sets of 39 in her three No. 1 singles matches and partnered with Olivia Miller to win three No. 1 doubles matches as the Blue Devils improved to 7-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Chiacchia improved to 6-1 in singles and 6-1 in doubles this season and to 25-5 in singles and 19-13 in doubles in two-plus seasons at Fredonia. Her singles win total is second in program history behind Miller's 33 wins.
