Derek Fie was Mr. Clutch for the Blue Devils this week. He had two walk-off hits in one day over Plattsburgh. With the score tied 6-6 in the bottom of the ninth, he roped a base hit to left field to drive in the game winner in Game 1. In Game 2, Fredonia entered the bottom of the seventh down 2-1. Fie ripped a base hit to right field for his second walk off of the day. It was his third walk-off hit in SUNYAC play this season for Fie (he plated the winning run on March in a 6-5 win over Oswego). Fie also went 2 for 5 in a 9-3 win over Penn State Behrend to secure the I-90 Cup for the Devils over their local AMCC rival. For the week, Fie batted .389 (7 for 18).
