Carlson, a senior springboard diver from LeRoy, N.Y., earned two All-America plaques for finishing fourth in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter at the NCAA Division III championship meet last week in Shenandoah, Texas. It was the first time all season he did not win an event in which he was entered. The holder of all of Fredonia's diving records, Carlson earned five All-America awards over the past three seasons.
