A senior from LeRoy, N.Y., Carlson improved to 18-0 this season by winning both boards at the Trinity (Texas) Invitational. He had a score of 554.55 points for 11 dives in the 1-meter, including a six-dive optional score was 356.30 points. He had an 11-dive score of 555.15 points in the 3-meter. It included a personal-best 222.05 points in the five-dive voluntary segment.
