Francis, a sophomore from Dunkirk, N.Y., led Fredonia to a third-place finish at the SUNYAC Men's Cross Country championship race Oct. 29 at Letchworth State Park. Francis covered the 8-kilometer distance in 25:40.4 to finish seventh individually and make Second Team All SUNYAC. Up next: The NCAA Atlantic Regional meet Saturday at Rowan University.
