Waldman scored all three goals in a 3-2 SUNYAC Tournament first-round win at Buffalo State. It was the sixth post-season hattrick in Fredonia State history. He then scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Oswego as the Blue Devils defeated the No. 1 seed and the nation's No. 1 ranked team, 2-1, in the semifinal round in order to advance to the championship game March 5 at Plattsburgh.
