A senior from Batavia, N.Y., Mulcahy earned All-America status when he crossed the finish line in fifth place in the mile run (4:12.53) at the NCAA Division III championship meet Saturday in Grinnell, Iowa. He improved three spots from his eighth-place finish in the preliminaries on Friday (4:13.83).
