A junior from Alden, N.Y., Alexio Medina went 8 for 14 (.517) in leading the Devils to a 3-1 start in Myrtle Beach, S.C. His weekend was highlighted by a steal of home in the bottom of the ninth in a 5-5 game to give Fredonia walk-off win in the final game of the trip vs. John Jay. Medina started the trip with a 4-for-4 in a 4-2 win over Johnson & Wales. He stole three bases and had 22 fielding chances without an error.
