A senior from Batavia, N.Y., Mulcahy won the indoor mile Feb. 27 at the 2016 SUNYAC Track & FIeld championship meet in meet and track record time. His 4:08.76 is the fourth fastest time this winter in NCAA Division III. It was 2.23 seconds faster than Fredonia alum Nick Guarino's previous meet record of 4:10.99, set at the 2010 meet. Mulcahy's time was 3.20 seconds faster than the previous track record.
