A junior from LeRoy, N.Y., Carlson was selected Male Diver of the Meet upon completion of the 2016 SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championship Meet in Buffalo, N.Y. He son the 3-meter springboard competition on the first day of the four-day meet with a score of 588.30 points -- a new school, meet, and conference record. He also broke the conference six-dive total during finals. Two days later, he just missed winning the 1-meter competition with a score of 567.15 points -- 1.3 points behind the champion. Next up: The NCAA Zone Meet at Cortland this Friday and Saturday.
