Running at the Houghton Highlander Invitational, Morrison -- a senior from Wethersfield, Conn. and Wethersfield High Schoool -- toppled Fredonia's mile record that had stood since 1990 (Jennifer McNerney, 5:09.14). Morrison's time of 5:02.91 was also the fastest mile time by a female in Houghton's Kerr-Pegula Fieldhouse, which opened in 2014. It's the fastest mile this season in the SUNYAC.
