A senior from East Amherst, N.Y., and Williamsville North High School, Baker won two individual events and was part of a top-scoring relay Jan. 16 at Grove City. Baker touched out first in the 100-yard freestyle in 49.42 seconds and in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.61. He was also fourth in the 50-yard free in 22.76 seconds. Fredonia was awarded first-place points in the 200-yard freestyle relay, of which Baker swam a 22.62-second opening leg.
