A senior from Batavia, N.Y., Mulcahy made the most of his bounce-back season with an eighth-place finish at Saturday's NCAA Atlantic Regional. He also earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country championship race this Saturday at Winneconne, Wis. Mulcahy passed competitors to finish 8,000 meters in 25:33.5 at the Regional meet, held at Letchworth State Park. He finished one spot ahead of senior teammate Kyle Collins. Both men will be competiting on the national stage this Saturday in Wisconsin for the first time in the collegiate running careers. It's also the first time since 1992 Fredonia will have two men in the national race. Mulcahy sat out most of the 2014 season because of an injury.
