An academic senior from Wethersfield, Conn., Morrison extended her first season of collegiate cross country to the limit -- with a trip this Saturday to the NCAA Division III championship meet in Winneconne, Wis. She earned her spot on the national stage with a 10th place finish last Saturday in the Atlantic Regional. She covered the 6,000-meter Letchworth State Park course in 22:18.8. Morrison is the first Fredonia runner since 2002 to qualify for the NCAA women's cross country championship race.
