Collins, a senior from Suffern, N.Y., finished sixth among collegiate men at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational held Sept. 19. His 8,000-meter time of 26:17.2 was his best of the season and the third best as a collegian. The Blue Devils, ranked No. 8 in the Atlantic Region, finished sixth out of 22 teams.
