Guarino ran his fastest-ever 8,000 meters at the Airfield Invititational Sept. 17. Over the same course the NCAA Atlantic Regional will be run in November, Guarino crossed the line in 24:57 -- his first-ever clocking below 25 minutes. He finished second of 288 men in the race and led the Blue Devils, ranked No. 8 in the Atlantic Region, to a fourth-place finish.
