Flagler, a junior goaltender from Owen Sound, Ont., made 37 saves to help lift Fredonia to a 2-1 home win Dec. 12 over Johnson & Wales in the final game of the first semester. Flagler made several difficult stops, including two during a 5-on-3 Blue Devil penalty kill early in the first period. His 37th save came after J&W won a offensive end draw with two seconds left and got off a blast just before the final horn. Flagler's stat line so far this season: 1-2-1 record with a 2.84 goals-against average and .920 save percentage. Prior to coming to Fredonia, he played for the Walkerton Juniors.
