Hewitt was a four-time winner Saturday during the Blue Devils home meet vs. Rochester Institute of Technology. He and three teammates started the afternoon with a stirring victory in the 200-yard medley relay, their winning time of 1:41.29 just .06 of one second faster than RIT. Hewitt's individual wins were more decisive -- by 13 seconds in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:30.38), by 9 seconds in the 200-yard butterfly (1:59.42), and by 4 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle (5:04.06). Each of those times was a season-best for Hewitt.
