Poirier, a freshman from West Seneca, N.Y., started at libero in place of teammate who was away attending to an academic requirement and responded with 18 digs in the Blue Devils' 3-1 win over Medaille on Sept. 16. She added eight digs in a 3-2 win over Nazareth on Sept. 18. With the 2-0 week, the Blue Devils improved to 8-6 overall heading into SUNYAC Pool Play this Friday and Saturday at Oswego State.
