Sturm, a junior from Amherst, N.Y., pitched a 5-hit shutout as the Blue Devils defeated Plattsburgh, 11-0, in a SUNYAC game played in Fort Myers, Fla. He struck out 4 and yielded 1 walk while improving his season record to 2-0 with a 2.77 earned run average.
