Estanislau, a senior from East Longmeadow, Mass., culminated his four-year Blue Devil career by winning James Fulton Award, given annually by the SUNYAC to the male swimmer or diver who has earned either national or conference awards, has shown improvement in the the sport, and has demonstrated academic achievement. The award was made Saturday following the SUNYAC championship meet during which, in addition to breaking team records, Estanislau and freshman Adam Clouthier became the first Blue Devil men to win an individual SUNYAC championship race since 2007. He is also the third Blue Devil to win the Fulton Award, the first since James Healy in 1988. The other previous winner was Peter Fuerst in 1987.Â
