Lefort, a senior from Java Center, N.Y., repeated as Fredonia State Student-Athlete of the Week after NCAA Division III All-American status in the men's decathlon. He finished seventh the event Saturday with 4,839 points at the NCAA D-3 championship meet in Naperville, Ill. The top eight earn the All-American designation. Last week, Lefort received the weekly Fredonia State award after winning the ECAC D-3 decathlon title.
