EDINBORO, Pa. -- Six Fredonia State women posted SUNYAC qualifying efforts Saturday at the Edinboro Unviersity Al Hall Freedom Games
In the 800 meters, junior
Kateri Walsh (West Seneca, N.Y.) had a third-place time of 2:30.
Other SUNYAC qualifers were sophomore
Emily Cummiskey (Clarence) with a time of 28.60 seconds in the 200 meters; freshman
Alicia Brand (Farmington) with 10.54 seconds in the 60-meter high hurdles; senior
Amanda Solly (West Seneca) and freshman
Amanda Cocchiara (Hilton) with 3,000-meter times of 11:16 and 11:24, respectively; and freshman
Jenna Fiacco (Verona) with 10.07 meters in the 20-pound weight throw.
In addition, there were three personal bests: sophomore Lexi Perez (Hamburg) with a time of 8.64 seconds in the 60 meters, freshman
Hailey Griewisch (Dunkirk) with 10.62 seconds in the 60-meter high hurdles, and sophomore
Loren Metzger (Fairport) with a throw of 12.33 meters in the weight throw. Metzger has already qualified for SUNYACs in the event.
