Walter Hubbard is the team’s all-time assist leader and ranks fourth with 1,309 points.
He was a key member of the most successful two-year stretch in men’s basketball program history as the Devils posted a 40-19 mark over the 1991-92 & 1992-93 seasons. He He was a starting guard on 1991-92 team which won a school-record 22 games, and 1992-93 team which won Fredonia State’s only SUNYAC title. .
Hubbard was twice a First Team All SUNYAC selection (1991-92 & 1992-93). He ranks in the Top 10 season leaders in four categories: 443 points (10th); 52 three pointers (7th); 48.4 3pt% (2nd); and 115 assists (4th). He also ranks in the Top 10 career leaders in five categories: 347 assists (1st); 1,309 points (fourth); 12.3 points per game (6th); 129 three pointers (6th); and 265 free-throws made (4th).
Hubbard graduated from Fredonia State in 1993.
