A high-scoring forward, Tom Scaglione was a force on the Blue Devil basketball teams in the late-1960s. During his collegiate career, he earned four varsity letters, scored 1,118 points, and grabbed 936 rebounds. An All-SUNYAC selection in 1968 and 1970, Mr. Scaglione was MVP of the 1970 team that finished 15-7 and held the school record for wins. A record-holder for most field goals in one game (17) for almost 20 years, he stood third on the all-time scoring list and fourth on the all-time rebound list at the time of his induction. He is a 1970 graduate with a bachelor's degrees in Biology and Education. At the time of his induction, Mr. Scaglione was working on the agency executive staff for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, Ill.
