A 1989 Fredonia State graduate with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/Math, she added a master's in Curriculum and Instruction and was working as a teacher and coach at Maple Grove Junior and Senior High School in Bemus Point, N.Y,, at the time of her induction.
