A high- scoring striker, Kenneth Supple was one of the most talented athletes to ever don a Fredonia State men's soccer uniform. During a four-year college career, he helped take the Blue Devils from a squad that recorded just two wins his freshman year to a team that posted an impressive 12-5-1 record his senior year. He was the leading scorer on the first Fredonia State team in any sport to earn a post-season tournament bid and he captained in the 1971 team that won the Area 7 NAIA championship and competed in the NAIA nationals. That team was inducted at a Fredonia State Athletics Team of Distinction at the 2018 Hall of Fame dinner. A prolific scorer, Mr. Supple was also an unselfish player. He held school records for most assists in one game (6), most assists in a season (15), and most assists in a career (25). He was named to the All New York State team in 1971 and 1972, received the Joseph Keyser Award as Fredonia State's Male Senior Athlete of the Year, and was cited for an Outstanding College Athletes in America Award in 1972-73. Holder of an Art degree, Mr. Supple was senior life manager for Amica Life Insurance Company in Merrick, N.Y., at the time of his induction.
