The following information was taken from the Hall of Fame program published at the time of induction. Some editing was required:
A truly outstanding performer in an outstanding program, Keith Norward was a two-time collegiate track and field All-America recipient. During his illustrious collegiate career, Mr. Norward finished as high as second in the indoor 55-meter high hurdles and fourth in the outdoor 110-meter high hurdles at 1985 NCAA Division III Track & Field championship meets. Undefeated in both the State University of New York Athletic Conference and the New York State Collegiate Track & Field Association competition for three straight years (1983, 1984, 1985), Mr. Norward was a six-time SUNYAC and six-time NYSCT&FA champion Six years after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Communications/Media, Mr. Norward still held the NYSCT&FA, SUNYAC, and Fredonia State records in the 55-meter, 60-meter, and 110-meter hurdle events. At the time of his induction in 1992, Mr. Norward was working as a manufacturing supervisor for the Ford Motor Company in Buffalo, N.Y.
