The following information was taken from the Hall of Fame program published at the time of induction. Some editing was required:
A four-year letterman at Fredonia State, Daniel Mlodozeniec had an outstanding career as a member of the men's track and field team. A seven-time individual champion at both the State University of New York Athletic Conference championships and the New York State Collegiate Track and Field championships, Mr. Mlodozeniec set indoor and outdoor records in the 35-pound weight throw, the shot put, and the hammer throw. He was selected as the track team's Most Valuable Player and was named Senior Male Athlete of the Year in 1983. A three-time NCAA Track and Field All-America (hammer twice, shot put once), Mr. Mlodozeniec held numerous SUNYAC and NYSCTFA records at the time of his induction in 1990. After graduation, he began competitive powerlifting, where he twice captured the New York State championship title for his weight class and set a world record in the bench press for his weight with a lift of 630.4 pounds. His Fredonia State bachelor's degree came in Sociology. At the time of his induction, he was a New York State Department Corrections officer stationed in Collins, N.Y.
